Good morning Jim and the rest of the crew. We had some rain over night, but it is now sunny and we should hit the low 80's later today.

Two of our son's and one granddaughter were here yesterday to help with spreading the mulch. I estimate that we've spread 8 of the 12 yards of mulch now.

The garden beds around the house look very good with their new coating of mulch!

    Have a great day!

Good morning from a warm, muggy and semi-clear So. Central Wisconsin where the storms hit at dinner time yesterday but nothing like what Janesville 50 miles south of us received. Today’s walk will be a humid one as it is 66 already.

Things are slowly opening within the Wisconsin internal State of Dane County of which I agree with, better safe then sorry. Much but not all the balance of the state of Wisconsin is more open then here. I can social distance when things are open but the guy next to me may not care, so we are mostly staying at home. The garden needs trip to HD shocked Terry by how few folks had face masks and seemingly did not care about social distancing. That was Thursday, I can’t image what the HD looked like this weekend.

Trains, not until we move into the new place. We have had a few offers but not what we wanted so we had to counter so we stayed with our original listing. We meet with the Realtor this afternoon as Terry has decided she will be happy in the place. Personally I don’t care where we live here in Wisconsin but I have issues with the places the girls wanted to move to and had investigated a couple summers ago. I still have over 700 acres left that we can build on but I am not interested in Nashville, San Marcos or Dripping Springs, Texas or anywhere in Arizona.

Stay safe and have a great day.

Good morning, Jim, Dave and crew. It's overcast and chilly in Tidewater Virginia. I guess I'm going for a walk this morning. Today's schedule hasn't been posted yet, so I'm not sure if yard work is on my schedule or not.

Things seem to be getting back to some semblance of normal. Restaurants that have outdoor seating are opening up. Beauty/barber shops are opening, but it'll be a while before I try that. Virginia Beach has been opened, but with the temps in the 60's, I don't think social distancing will be a problem. Being in the high risk age group and a model railroader, I'm happy staying at home.

    Have a good day.

started a topic Sunday morning lounge

    Sunday morning lounge

Good morning all from 65 and Sunny N.E. Indiana where it is supposed to reach 85 today. Not looking forward to that! The coffe urn has signaled READY with Pullman Porter blend today. The special is Waffles and Strawberry's and Canadian bacon. Keep your distance there will be plenty to go around. Non Standard beverages at the end of the line. Mark is in charge of the DeCaf. TomO has scullery duty.

This 'outside' work is cutting into my modeling time. :erm: The LHS remains closed as a non-essential business. Those should be open to allow folks to get supplies for projects to keep them sane. We're lucky here in Indiana as we see quite a few Michigan escapees that cross the border to buy gardening supplies etc. Well, I better get off that soapbox, and think about pulling weeds. No law against that, only sore muscles.

I'm determined to work on the 'Mystery scratchbuild' later today.

    Have a Super day!

    Jim
