Thanks George, the twin conical towers are are a challenge to be sure. If you look closely at the photos that Bernd posted, You see that they are actually 18 sided polygons. 9 sides on the left, 9 on the right. Each panel is 20 degrees of a circle, and that is how they cover the 180 degrees to return. A simple 'dunce hat' would have been easier for me. [:-dunce]quote:

Jim, you got me thinking. If I understand it right, you can work up a roof template using CAD. I picked a 20' radius for the silo to show how it works out.

George, the trouble I'm having is connecting the two 'halves together as one piece. the points of the two domes are 75mm apart getting the CAD program to do that triq...er trick, is a new manouver for me to figure out. The template looks great.
