Good morning Crew. The coffee is ready, raise your mugs as you go through Jim’s “Fast Mail” delivery system, even ny wife thinks it’s cool. The brew is Thermite Blend as it is cool and damp here in So. Wisconsin.

Breakfast again and for the future is available through the window. 3 Pancakes, maple syrup from the north woods of some state, slices of ham or bacon. Fresh fruit, donuts of which we all need one and the diet cold sodas are available in the PITA section of the drive up.

Hopefully today will be decent (not wet) to go for a walk. I am trying to stay busy till 1 daily ( 3 days now) doing something other then trains and the internet. From 1 to 6 I have been doing things in the trainroom. The last few days I have rearranged my modeling area.

Be safe, tell someone you love them, be happy!

Good morning Tom and the incoming crew, thanks for opening and putting out the breakfast and of course the coffee. Sunny right now with a predicted high of 65. Heading out to the shop.

    Have a Super day!

Good Morning Tom, Jim and the other Shelter In Place RRL-Crew. Had some strong T-Storms roll through last night but no local damage that I'm aware. Bright morning outside right now.

Cinnamon Raisin Toast and Tea for my breakfast. Not sure what we'll do for lunch. Just might put in a curb-side pick up at Chili's for a 10oz Steak meal that Mary and I can split. Sounds goo to me just need to ask Mary.

Well, Toast is ready so I'm off for my breakfast and PILLS. Getting to be a long habit.

Everyone have a SAFE and HAPPY day in your bunker at the Train Yard.

Good morning, Tom and crew. It's going to be in the 80's in Tidewater Virginia, so Pat and I are going for an early walk. We're not acclimated to this weather yet.

Well, we returned from Spain two weeks ago, so we're no longer on self quarantine, but we're not venturing out. No need to take chances. We've been using the Houseparty app to have daily family gatherings. Pat commented yesterday that we see more of the family now that we're quarantined than before.

I have plenty to do at the workbench...

        Have a good day.

Good morning Tom and the rest of the crew. The sun just broke out and will be around for a few hours. We will take our walk this morning before the clouds come back in. Temps are in the low 50's.

Walt, we got a line of thunder boomers come through just after mid-night last night. They work me up, and until I fell back to sleep I enjoyed the lightning flashes out the bedroom windows.

I finished up the scratch built water tower yesterday. Today I will put it on its base next to the FSM Branchline Bucket Coaling Station and add some basic ground cover to the base. After that I will get back to the Campbell Oil Derrick build.

          Have a great day!

            Mornin' All!

52, headed all the way to 53 and grey trending toward wet here in the northern mitten today. Another good Cave Day setting up. If only....

I managed to paint a road on part of the railroad yesterday, just to see what it would look like. Sad state of affairs when a painted road on cork seems like progress, but it will help establish where the rails go in town, so.... [:-bigeyes2]

Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!

It started sunny but that is gone now, warmish going to coolish/cold today with very high wind.

Oatmeal and pessimism for breakfast here this morning. The Doll’s abstinence from Facebook lasted about a week. What a cesspool that outlet is, politics and virulent hatred in even the most benign sounding groups.

I hope tO get some modeling done today. I need a dumpster. We’ll see, surely nothing on TV to watch, the SPARTANSid="green"> won it all.......20 years ago....will just live with that.

Finished the SD40T-2 yesterday for the most part and it’s on the layout, took some photos but will have to fiddle with Photobucket on the ‘real’ computer later before I can post.

It only took me a year to finish the thing, it started out as a SD40T-2 in Southern Pacific, stripped and repainted and then reassembled. Tiring. Looks, "OK" but not a show stopper.

Mmmmm, sun again but real dark to the West....steady 72 inside.

              Everyone stay healthy today.

Good morning, all. It's been raining and 40s on the NH seacoast, expected to continue through Monday. Yesterday I tuned up our bicycles and found one with a broken rear axle. Luckily we have spares (amazing the quality of bike you find kicked to the curb around here). Then our first-of-the-year, 6 mile/two state bike ride around our 'block'. My wife made a Thai 5-spice flavor tripe dish (we'd picked some up last week) and then I got back to my house under construction. Today, I'm doing some Division work via email, then back up to the attic.

We just got back from our mile walk up to the main road and back. Our neighbor from across the street came out to walk his dog at the same time, so we each took one side of the street and did the walk together. Anyone coming the other way 'threaded the needle' in the middle of the road.

It was sunny when we stepped out of the house, but clouds came in during the walk and the wind picked up quite a bit. I'm glad that we did the walk when we did.

Karl, that engine looks good to me!
