Looks great Martin! Can you post a panned back, overall shot of the layout?

Thanks guys for the positive feedback.

Rick: all structures and rolling stock was finished, that made things easier and faster

Georg, Cody: except for the caboose the rolling stock is based on Shapeways parts

Here are more shots, including an overall photo:

                Chris,

the Miners' cabins on the left are redetailed Banta Model works kits. I added shingles to the roof and changed the windows from laser cut to Tichy styrene parts. As the kits aren't listed on the website anymore I assume they are discontinued.

The building on the front left is a scratchbuilt model of the blacksmith's shop at Wawona in Yosemite.

And the small office next to the mill is also scratchbuilt using Tichy windows.

                Regards

                Martin

                    Martin,

Excellent modeling. You fit a lot of character and creativity into a small space.

                    Mike

Great looking small layout, with very well planed use of space. The saying goes, "you've got ten pounds of **** in a five-pound bag". Outstanding modeling Martin!

Tyson, Mike and Louis: thanks for the compliments.

This was the first time I ever built a micro layout and I enjoyed it. Maybe I should do another one[:-bouncy]
