Rick: all structures and rolling stock was finished, that made things easier and faster
Georg, Cody: except for the caboose the rolling stock is based on Shapeways parts

the Miners' cabins on the left are redetailed Banta Model works kits. I added shingles to the roof and changed the windows from laser cut to Tichy styrene parts. As the kits aren't listed on the website anymore I assume they are discontinued.
The building on the front left is a scratchbuilt model of the blacksmith's shop at Wawona in Yosemite.
And the small office next to the mill is also scratchbuilt using Tichy windows.
