    Wednesday morning lounge

    Good morning all from foggy N.E. Indiana, you can almost hear the Hounds of the Baskerville howling in the distance. Actually it's the hillbilly's dogs down the road. The coffee urn is READY with Ashpit blend. The special is an Asparagus and eggs omelet, grits, and crispy bacon. All other drinks available.

    It never stopped raining yesterday, so the railroad yard photo never happened. Doesn't look too promising right now either. Visibility is about 500'. We get a lot of fog here.

    I did make a faux stone tunnel portal on the printer yesterday that came out pretty good. drew the stones on the entrance, raised them about 1 mm, when the print finished, I soaked the front surface in acetone for about 2 minutes, and then wiped it smooth with a shop rag. Surprised myself how nice it came out. Ready for painting. Maybe the scenery work later.

    Good morning Jim and the rest of the crew. It is 36 degrees and cloudy here in S.E. Michigan.

    We have a few errands to run this morning and then some time at the modeling bench.

    I did finish up gluing stripwood to the base for the Campbell Oil Derrick, so I will post an update photo later today.

      Good morning Jim and all incoming friends. Breakfast sounds good on this chilly morning good chance not to go out at all. Got a division meeting Friday with a lot of old friends am planning on going maybe with a mask. See you all later

        Good morning from So. Wisconsin. A mostly cloudy day is what the weather app says. Thank Jim for opening and fog is always nasty. Other then the fitness center from 9 to 10 and the grandkids at 3 there are no real plans. Enjoy your day.

          Good morning Jim, Bruce, Tom and the rest of the RR-L Crew this drizzly morning.

          Your tunnel portals sound good Jim. Need to post a photo.

          Basically sitting waiting for a couple of calls. One from a fellow 3D printer who does mainly military models and also the auto shop to say my car is none.

          In the meantime I'm working on a LARGE list of 3D parts for Steve down at Rail_Scale_Models.

          Everyone have a Fun and Safe day in the DAMP CHILLY Train Yard.

            Good morning Jim and incoming crew thanks for fixing breakfast I will have my usual yuppie cup of decaf. It is 45 and dreary hear in the Mid Ohio Valley hope to take bike ride today. planted peas and onions Monday in our raised bed and turned in taxes. Well tomorrow is the big day I get my stimulator turned 0n hope for the best!! hope everyone with ailments are doing well it's hard for me to keep up but I know Walt and Tom wives have issues so wishing them well. A special shout out Jim for his support.

                Many thanks to Burley Jim for his phone call tutorial on the new 3D software. It’s got me headed in the right direction.

                Reassembling the loco still on the bench. Found a part that jumped ship on me yesterday with fresh eyes this morning.

                Weather has the Doll down. Made her eggs and toast this morning but still dreary...

                  Yes, good thoughts for Mark. The Doll too, never good when the spouse is not feeling well. Glad Jim got you going in the right direction Karl. The reason I am Leary of a 3d printer is the cad drawings, give me graph paper and I am fine, computer drafting, nope!
