  • Thanks, Bob, Rick, Mike and Scott.

Making progress. What was black is now white.

Each frame is numbered on the backside so I know which opening it is for. There will likely be some "fine tuning" when I mount them.

And the windows are done and painted.

You may notice that I reduced the number of lites from the test window I did. I didn't like it. Even though it was more prototypical.

OK, so I only did 25 windows. The empty one is waiting on a different treatment, which I'm working on. Also, the windows have a bunch of gaps around them, working on filling them in too. Even though I probably won't light the building.

        • Fred,
Looks fantastic! The brickwork looks very realistic!
I really like the windows and the door to the right.

                • All about this is coming together very well. The brick pattern looks right. The brick coloring is spot-on. The windows are the right shape and size. I'll be interested to see how you fill the one window opening.

                    • It all looks good, Fred. Just enogh difference in the bricks in the brickfilled window. And Really nice the brick window arches don't stand proud of the wall.

                          • Fred,

Outstanding as usual. You have the brickwork down to a science.

                            • Thanks, both Daves, Bill, Mike, Philip and Bob!!

The brick sizes are really all over the place. I just try to keep them in the ballpark. The mortar does a lot to cover discrepancies.
