  • Thanks, Mike and Bob!!

For the record, I am still working on this project but it's been slow lately. Of course it's still just bricks and if you've seen one, you've seen them all. Or, at least, I have.

My modeling time has been limited the past 3 weeks or so. But the past few days I have managed to get back up to a blistering snail's pace. I'm at the point where I will need to wrap around the right side. That will not speed things up any.

      • I am still working on this...

Fred, I am relieved to hear this ...how difficult is working with all 4 sides glued together?

Did you build a cradle of some sort to hold it in position?

BTW- I really like the look you achieve with your brick method.

        • Carl, it's not all that difficult, it's all braced and well glued together. The main down-side is getting the walls at a good viewing angle, when I tip it up to work on the front wall it feels like it's right in my face.

          Thanks!

          • God my eyes hurt just looking at at wall. Can't believe how straight/spacing you get these to sit.

            Just wonderful work.

            • Fred,

My hat is off to you, my friend, those bricks look great. Will have to try your method some day.

              • Fred,
Looking very good! You need a small pile of bricks, pile of sand, mixing trough, and some small tools in the picture.

                • Amazing masonry. That's going to be a fine-looking factory building.

                      • Still laying bricks Fred. Looks great. You must be a patient man.
I do like the staggered sloping roof. Nice feature

Some might of thought you were gold bricking, but you are staying the course.

                            • Thanks, Rob, Carl and Scott!! I swear I'll get through this eventually. I'm not used to it taking this long, kind of depressing.

I don't agree, we would never believe you are gold bricking, however, we can't wait to see more.
