    Thanks, Bob, Carl, Scott and Bob!! Paint and mortar go a long way towards hiding any flaws.

    I've capped off the walls and added the roof.

        Yes, Scott, I call it styrene because it acts like it. It is from some 4' by 4' sheets, black, I "inherited" back in 2005. I have quite a few of them so I use it a lot.

                    Nice work Fred. The brickwork looks so realistic, and the buttresses have give it that extra bit of character. I always like firehouses.

                      A little paint and weathering on the base. Also added interior walls to a small "room".

                            The building is glued to the base. Like everyone else I'm "going green".
