Wow! That's a very stately looking home.

Looks like this beauty is right up your alley.

I'll be watching you build this with great interest!

No alumicide, Pete. Just foamcore, cardstock, and styrene.

Thanks, Jerry, Philip, Greg, Dave and Bob !!

Fred let me give you a few tips about modeling a bank, sell high and buy low.

I give you credit for taking on a MOST challenging project. On second though - you gotta' be nuts.

I can't argue with that, Frank.

But since I have yet to come to my senses...

That's six walls of varying shapes and sizes. I need at least three more done just to finish the front. And I sort of need to put all of that together so I can figure out the rest. But I don't want to do that until I do the windows, which I have yet to figure out how I'm going to do.

The way I see this there are, counting the porch, nine different builds making up this house. If I do everything that's there now.

Did I miss it, or is this "O" scale ? You may need a bigger bench.

Don't worry, Carl. If I can't find an easy way to make these windows it won't get any bigger. [:-ashamed]

Fred, how many windows are there? 40 or more?

The windows all have "curved shoulders"? Yikes.

Nobody makes those, interested to see your solution....

                          Thanks, Jim!

Frank, fortunately only the front has those curved windows. The rest are a piece of cake.

I know, Carl, and compounding the problem is that the windows and frames are different colors. What were they thinking?

Ok, after a day and a half I have one window mocked up.

Of course it needs to be cleaned up and painted and there are only 24 more to do, in 5 different sizes.

Well Fred, looks like you've got a good handle on the window making. My worst nightmare would be not using strong enough glue, a "popping noise" in the middle of the night, to awake and find all of the windows needing fresh glue. :erm:

I thought I might as well come on over here to see what you've been up to, as I can't post on my boat build after wading through all of the jibberish ans BS that's going on in my thread.
