    Thanks guys!

    Spent the afternoon organizing my strip wood. Mounted some old pill bottles that I cut in short pieces and attached them to an old shelf with small pan head screws. Screwed it to the floor joist. Happy to say I'm a bit more organized!

      Pill bottles for stripwood organized use, great idea! Now fumbling for the right stripwood won't be a PILL anymore.

            After almost two weeks progress!

            Made a change in the shed length. It is now 34'6" length due to limited space. Width remains the same.

            The rafter jig has served it's purpose. This is a first for square cut rafter tails. Much easier yet the lengths wander a bit, 147 & 3/8! Carpenter hears something else.



            Some photos along the way. Purlin next and a shoddy tin roof will keep the locos dry. Siding is stained in a Mike Chambers mixture.



            I like the shorter length much better. I'm quartering two 2-4-0 Porters.



            Ladder overhangs on both ends.

                I agree with Larry. It was worth the time invested in making that jig. Your framing is fantastic. Even your roofing outriggers are prototype. Great job here Philip!

                              South wall is up, work continues on the north side. I'm also beefing up the flimsy rafters as I go.
