  • Philip, didn't know about your medical issues, but I'm glad you're OK now.
Gondola looks good and I'm sure you'll get the track fixed and re-ballasted.
Follow along as my dog and I travel the country in our van.

          • Philip I'm sorry to hear about your health issues, glad you are better. As far as the damage to your modules in transporting them to and from the show you didn't do anything wrong. you were just showing us what not to do and we thank you for that!

Thanks Mike, I'm over the health hurdle.
Next show I'll guarantee no damage. When I loaded at the house the last module in was sitting on it's edge held in place with a ratchet strap and one drywall screw! Redesigned the load plan after that. Miscalculation of footage. LOL!

              • Small update: Filing that unsightly groove in the copper foil so the ties to looks more realistic . Just about done with this step. Hope to finish this step today.
I also filed the anchor ties on each end and attached with JB Weld.

                • Those are quite deep grooves. Nice save with the fill in.

                    • Philip sorry to hear about the health issues but am glad you're back to your old self. That kinda sucks you sustained
damage to your layout for the sake of a show. Nice job on fixing the problem once and for all. Looking forward to
                      more progress.

                      • Thanks Larry. I'm also building some racks in the retired work van to keep things from moving around. A simple 2 shelf rack. No more oh..... it doesn't fit!

The van sounds like a good plan.

                      • Philip good to see you back at this. Like Larry said the van sounds like a great idea!

                            • Philip nice switch shacks; every little bit is sill progress. Curious where the "brick work" is going; is
that carved foam? It looks really good.
