Thanks for the welcome. I'm enjoying looking around this site and seeing what I can learn. I've been in N-scale for 20 years modeling the Rock Island set in the late 70's in Southern Iowa. But recently I have started considering a change to On30. A couple factors are influencing this. My interest in detailing scenes as opposed to operating a "large" layout with multiple trains and the reality that the coming years will make it harder to work in that smaller scale. So I am in the research stage for a potential new layout right now. I've started investigating some Colorado narrow gauge prototypes. In particular the Denver South Park and Pacific has caught my attention. We visited that area just a month back and now I am inspired. Thanks again for the kind welcome.
