  • Highliners Wire Grills

In my search for Highliner "chicken wire" grills, I came across this website. Highlinersonline.com.

They are a bit pricey but seem to have all the parts for Highliners shells, including the grilles for F3 & F7 units. I also read in one of the monthly model RR magazines that Athearn has the Highliner kits available again but without grills.

I hope this might help someone looking for grills.

John that is the same owner of Highliners.

Athearn and Highliners went their separate ways hence the return of Highliners.

And yes the cost of producing these parts and shells has gone up like everything else.

Hope this helps a little Mate

John thanks for sharing this information.

As Vince stated, same company, just modern day prices.

Years ago Highliners shells, and details, were the railroad modelers go to place for super detailing locomotives.
