I ran into a little setback, the white ink in my Alps printer is old and drying out. You can see in the two pictures below (Picture #3 and #4) right side and left side, that the outer ring in my L&R Logo’s has chipped off from both logos. Once the decal dries, I’ll have to hand paint the missing spots with white paint.
I used a Testors Sure Thing Decal Maker program Custom Edition I got for $9.95 years ago;
I did a Homemade Decals How-to here in 2008; http://www.railroad-line.com/forum/t...TOPIC_ID=23297 the same process was used to make the L&R Railroad Logo’s. (Picture #1). Then I ran it through my Alps printer (Picture #2). The Testors decal bonder spray must be used to seal the ink. Some printer inks will not run like the Alps printer, but others will, so to be safe and take that extra step, use the bonder spray. I’ve seen a good decal run because I left that step out.

You might check this out as the ALPS cartridges are getting scarce. I've been using the Bare Metal decal papers for the past three years. There's basically 4 varieties of their paper. 2 for ink-jet, 2 for laser printers. Clear and white in each type. I had some old Testors decal paper and it had dried out and would fragment easily. The other annoyance was the weird paper size. This Bare Metal product comes on 8 1/2 X 11 sheets, so if you want to do a full sheet, no messing around. Anyway, I'm a fan of this stuff. https://www.bare-metal.com/experts-c...ecal-film.html
