Good morning crew from cool, overcast, N.E. Indiana. The days are noticeably getting shorter.

The coffee urn is ready with Pullman Porter Blend today. Breakfast Burritos or Oatmeal is on the serving line.

I played around with my train show treasure of yesterday. Yep, it didn't work as the vendor had told me. I guess he needed the $10 more than me. That aside, I cleaned it up, put the drive belts on it...what a rocket! I forgot how quik=ck and 0 - 1000 mph they got there.

I ordered some dual shaft motors off of eBad last night, and I'll retro fit a can motor in it along with a decoder. In about 2 months.

Well, a zillion errands this morning so time to get going.

    Have a Super day!

Good morning, Jim, Mark and crew. It's going to be a wet one in Tidewater Virginia today. First thing on my list is a haircut. I hope to finish my truss rafters this afternoon.

You'r going to have to redo your track, skiping past super elevated curves to banked curves for that RDC car.

      Have a good day.

Good morning Crew from Tulsa, Ok. The Route 66 trip continues. Spent a couple nights in St. Charles, Mo and used that as a base for a couple days. Took in a Cub/Cardinal game Friday and the Cubbies don’t look very good. Spent a night in Springfield, Mo and checked out the Civil War battlefields in the area. Being too young at 65, I skipped Branson completely. The Route 66 trip is fine, a lot of the nostalgia is gone or abandoned.

Jim thanks for opening and the breakfast. Even the virtual breakfast is better then some of the stuff I had. I have hopes Oklahoma will have more of the nostalgia I think I am looking for. I have a WiFi hotspot in the car so I still am connected to the world. But other than Skype with the wife in China I have only been reading the forums.

You need print out a set of B-47 engine nacelles and put on the top of that RDC and you'll be all set for the NYC record breaking run.

Sunny and pleasant here this morning, it looks like another nice one. Pop up T-storms a chance later. I watched one build and then fade away to the WNW yesterday as I sat on the back deck at sundown. I see on the weather today it left 1.5 inches of rain on the S side of Grand Rapids. Nothing even close to rain here. At least 2 more 90 degree days forecast for next weekend.

Back at the layout today, most of the weekend was spent otherwise occupied.

Not much to add this morning. Everyone have a good day.

In early as usual, but jumped into work stuff immediately. Burley Jim: I don't touch the silver pot stuff, so that detail will remain yours.

              Mornin,' All!

74, sunny and Very Nice out there in the northern mitten this morning. Days like this are why I live here! 8D

Jim, I agree with Karl... print up a B-47 nacelle, break out the NYC decals and rocket on! M497 might not fit your era or your railroad, but this is a Hobby!

Made some railroad progress this weekend, need to implement The Plan, and have to start looking for laundromats-- the washer died and the repair guys are available in Mid-August, while the Grandkids are here.... It's a thrill a minute in my life. [:-irked]

Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!

A late good morning to the entire crew. It is sunny and 75 degrees now in Holly, MI.

We have been opening boxes, and like Pete suggested yesterday, we have set achievable goals for each day. Yesterday we finished 10 boxes including the last of the 6 wardrobes. We hope to achieve something similar today.

Our son and granddaughter will stop over for dinner (while our daughter-in-law is out for her Monday evening golf date with her girlfriends), and he will help us with our unpacking.

Enjoy the remainder of the day!

                  Good afternoon, everyone.

An unexpected change in direction, yesterday. Marcia finally cut and sewed the hems to the layout skirts, yesterday. I even helped, pinning the hems and measuring. So, today will be spent installing them on the layout. I am sure this will make a huge difference in how it looks.

Not much else planned for the day. Have a good one!

                    Afternoon everyone

Cloudy here in South Jersey so no beach for us!

Grocery shopping and other errands to do.

Then maybe some time working on something in my room.

                    Everyone have a great day!!

Treat the Grandkids to Pioneer Days. Get them a washboard, hang up a clothesline, and let 'er rip!

Good morning crew - Your tale Jim of the RDC reminds me of the time we built a combination Aurora Model Motoring/rail road layout at a cousins house. The railroad ran along side the back straight-a-way of the race course and it was always awesome when the RDC would catch and pass the Ford GTs, Lolas and Ferraris on the adjacent

race track. Hope everyone has a great day.

In our previous move, it took us 3 weeks to find our silverware. It was at the bottom of a pile of boxes dumped in the parlor.

We're flying home tomorrow, I'm tired and I want to see my dogs.
