  • Friday morning lounge

Good morning crew, readers, and guests. Raining here as it has been for the past 24 hours. The coffee urn is READY with Railbender Blend. Bacon, eggs, and grits. Bagels and cream cheese, Tea, Decaf, and the juicebar.

We went to the Indiana State Museum yesterday. Certainly not the Smithsonium, but a very good museum. Very well maintained and a varied collection of artifacts. If you're heading across Indiana, worth a visit. It runs the gamut from Science, Natural History, Industry, to Art (IMO the Art seemed out of place, probably a big time $$$ contributer).

Today is back to the bench, shop and dodging raindrops.

    Have a Super day!

Good morning, Jim and crew. The weatherman has scheduled off and on rain in Tidewater Virginia. I guess my day will be like Jim's.

I did some scenery work at the club last night and I'm thinking of redoing it. That's what I like about scenery - it's easy to do over.

    Have a good day.

Good morning Jim and the rest of the crew. It is sunny and 61 degrees here in northern NJ.

I'm meeting with a landscape company in a few minutes to see what they would charge for mowing the lawn since we will be moving the tractor to Michigan this weekend. Speaking of which, we have to pick up the flat bed trailer around noon, and I have a lot to do before that, so off I go.

      Have a great day!

Good morning Crew from saturated So. Wisconsin, where it’s not raining right now but give it a few minutes. Jim, good breakfast, thanks. My wife and I on our travels like museums, mainly history and art.

I planned on going across the property line and visiting the American Family Champions PGA Championship. When I surveyed the route yesterday I found a very small creek, now river, with roaring rapids. There is no parking on the grounds because of the saturated grass parking lots. So I will drive to the local middle school and take a bus in, maybe not today but I’ll get there this weekend.

Hooked the feeders up to the bus line yesterday and a DC transformer and used a shelf queen to test the power. All worked no shorts at this time. Enjoy your day.

Grey with forecast rain today. Feels like it could snow. Funny thing today’s 60 would have been sweltering, put the top down on the old car weather a couple of months ago, now it’s shivering cold. Good sounding breakfast, Jim. You hooked me in with the grits.

I sprayed a bunch of track with camo brown yesterday just before we left for a few hours. Let it air out the house. The odor brought considerable objection when I last did it. Never heard a peep. Later today i’ll clean off the railheads and work on some of my backdrop project. That’s getting to drag a bit...

I hope everyone has a good weekend, dragging the long sleeves back out today.
