How will you paint the insides?

      Hi Dave,

Well I guess hiring an HO size paint crew is out of the question. Dipping it in paint is also a little shakey. I'm going to airbrush it with a really fine nozzle on the gun and shoot very thin coats.

You're right on target with the question, I had to fit the roof in place to be able to make sure the sliding doors were operational. One of them 'catch-22' deals.

Jim, looks pretty darn good for your first one built'.. I bet it will be difficult to distinguish if is Taylor made or an original custom model'.. [^]

This should solve the how will I paint it question.

That virgin bottle of Floquil has been waiting a long time.

Looks great! Glad you didn't have a problem getting coverage inside the car.

              Jim,

Impressive-looking stock car. And the paint job too.

By the way, I was thinking of you while using my cheapo multimeter today. For a moment I thought I needed to throw it on the floor and stomp on it; turned out it just needed a new battery.

Dave, that 65% lacquer thinner 35% Floquil always worked like a champ.

                Mike, thanks.

Thanks Pete, George, and Ed. The doors still operate, and I saw that I wacked the ladder rung off the farside (repaired already) Now I need a little Frank Palmer mindset to weather it.
