Forum Member, Fred Terrell, I were discussing road/street construction. Subsequently, Fred sent me this photo of an excellent model of an old garage built by modeler, Leon Clark'. Mainly to see the drive way. I thought it was a cool model, and well, copied the basic concept.
Leon's build':
This will be planted on an actual road yet to be built. Theses are just a few shots mainly for Fred's pleasure, as I told him I would be building this model.
The stucco is made from cork sheet. Garage door, Tichey, Window, real cedar shingles, Rusty Stumps, Letters are foam from a kids set sold in Wally world. Paint is acrylic, antique white mixed with beige. Finished up with Pan Pastels'.
A few in Black & White that always changes the perspective and adds a little drama'..
Bikes are Scale City, originally Keil Line products, white metal castings.
Greg, Mr. majestic is a back woods dealer. As soon as he gets a few sales under his belt, he'll be installing some pavement. In the mean time, The sales girl is ready to take your order'...[:-dopey]
Thanks very much Bob'..I am working on incorporating several builds I've been working on along with a very special surprise structure, on a L shaped diorama using new techniques.
Ted, In your opening post you mentioned the Majestic will be planted on a road. With that saleslady that everyone is talking walking around the lot about I wonder if you meant street?
It looks great, seems Mike and Frank from American Pickers are drooling over the "Injuns" Is "Mister" Majestic one of those "T" folks we hear so much about lately? Good sales gimmick.

Great looking garage. It certainly has that back roads atmosphere to it, particularly with the various materials: stucco front, wood siding, cedar shingles. Full of character.
