    As my first kit since 1982, I think. I forget which FSM it was. I wanted to do it for someone special and learn at the same time. A world of difference from than to now. I feel confident my next effort will show improvement. I must learn how to post the pictures. I have a Nikon which may also be a benefit. Or it may show more flaws. If I achieve joy while building, and also the interaction with people on the various forums, that will enhance my life.

    Being 74 and a veteran, not all my days are filled with as much joy as I would like. I am not complaining, because I have an amazing lady and wonderful dog who strongly contribute to my well being.

    I look forward to a long standing good relationship with everyone.

          Dave, Ted and Frank. I am so overwhelmed by your comments that I am having trouble responding. Those who know me, mainly from Brett's forum, know I have no secrets. To add to that my life is either joy, or I'm pissed off at something or somebody.

          I spend very little time in the middle. Now I am so joyful. Thank you.

          I took those pictures and some more, to see what the weathering would look like outdoors. Much different than inside. I also knew it would expose flaws. It sure did. But I wanted to learn, so I could improve. I also wanted to see if my phone camera was good enough to use. I sent pictures to to my dear fiend Carl Laskey, because he asked. I never intended to show anyone. I was happy with the results, considering it was my first effort in 35 years. Your comments will be treasured.

          I think my reluctance to post future work has changed. I thank you guys from the bottom of my heart.

                          Ted, please excuse Rich, he sometimes can't control himself. It has put himself in a position where he can not mis-spell.

                              No problem with the hijacking. I was taking a pause anyway and seeing Ed's work was a nice surprise. Ed, I'll be watching for your first posting. I'm starting work on building three and will post shortly.

                                Please, what does hijacked mean in this case?

                                I think I want to avoid doing that.

                                I'm thinking (bad thing in my case) of my next project. When I have time I will run it past you fine gentlemen. I have long learned to heed advice. Well at least listen to to it.
