    Hillside Buildings

    My next scratch build project will be a 1:29 scale diorama that includes four buildings, each stepped at a higher level to fit a hill side. The sketch represents a concept of the build.




    All of the buildings will be cut from foam board with paper siding applied and plastic or wood strips cut to form the windows, storefronts, walks and railing.

    This build will take time and I will post some construction info as I progress.

    Nice Dave'. I have wanted to try this as well. Now I'll be tagging along and studying your techniques'..I envision another fantastic Guffy Construction Company build coming up'..

      I will follow this thread as well because this is what many of the buildings in Virginia City look like. I may not be able to add man,y due to space constraints for VC, but I'm interested nonetheless.

      BTW, that looks like a hand drawn drawing. Is it?
      The V & T lives in my garage. Soon...
