Wow, thanks Carl, Greg, Pete. Bill, Dave, and Ted, for the nice posts on a little buoy, but it's not

done yet. I think that the seagulls are going to buy it because they left a deposit on it.

Those dirty birds! How dare they mess up a new buoy? No respect!![:-irked]

Looking forward to seeing your gulls.

Bob, you will be happy to know that I've set up a 24/7 seagull surveillance, so they won't mess with your buoy anymore.

Thanks for your posts Dave, Ted, Greg, Bill, and Ray. And welcome back from your travels, Ray.

                            Here's the gulls so far.

Bodies and wings carved from Renshape (a tooling resin)

                            beaks are toothpick tips

                            legs are 20 gauge wire

Feet are thin lead foil. It's easier to add feet to standing birds after they are standing.

They still need some tweaking before they are painted.

                            Bob

Bob, Viewers don't have to be at all gull-ible to admire how well those carvings are turning out!
