Karl, page 35 huh, I’ll bet that took a while. That is an interesting paint job. They must have done a poor prep job for the rust between the FLS stripes to show through. Really interesting paint job to copy, thanks.

I'm slow getting here to this wonderful kitbash.
I too, have always had an eye perking up to any BQ cab engine build or kitbash.
You did an awesome job here. Very nice job executing & photographing.
Always looking forward to see what you are doing and hopefully my cement head leaks in a little new knowledge every now & then.

Thankx for the compliments Thom. It is a curious piece of railroad history. I think you should go for it. The Bachmann BQs come up for auction every once in a while. I bought a second one as a spare.
