Finishing this project might be one of my 2022 challenge goals, particularly if "stations" is one of the items on the list of goals

You got the knack of painting stone work. Great looking structures. Nice progress.

I gotta ask: does this mean you are going to finish it?

I finally refound this thread that I started a few years ago. I simply bumping it up, before it gets lost in antiquity.

    Dave,

Glad you bumped this up. Now I can follow the build.

While I was looking through the posts and idea for build a station came to me. Have to suppress it for now or it'll turn into another started but never finished projects. Have enough of them now.

Your station looks beautiful in the context of your layout.

I had the Rubbles Depot out the other day. It has been languishing in a cabinet while other bench and trackwork progresses. It gave me the opportunity to take a quick pic for posting. The roof will be extended to the left to cover the entire platform and n additional round window added over the freight building.

The structure will be located to the lower right of the town buildings where the track cuts across the base of the town

Actually finished the "main" bench work for the layout. Reversing loop under the steps on hold till the new furnace is installed. So the station is just on the back burner until later in construction.

Ok, it's been a while since I moved forward on this project. Fear not. It has not been forgotten. It has simply been set aside while progress is being made on the layout as a whole. Ill come back to it again soon

The neatness comes from using extremely thin solder made for printed circuit boards, not at all what you'll find at Home Depot. Likely that I bought it twenty years ago at Radio Shack or an electronics supply house.
