  • bobbed forney

I plan to remove the "T" tender from my outside frame Forney and use the backwoods miniatures tender, My question is does anyone know what the minimum radius would be with this chop job?

    thanks, Vince

    Vince,

It depends on what you might be trailing behind it? I assume you are bobbing it, then putting a tender behind it, you can easily do 18s, maybe smaller, but I would be careful on that.

      Hi Vince,

I did that particular conversion on my old Forney some years back, and mine has no problem negotiating the 15" radius curves on my tramway.

(No more wagons / cars being swept off the track!!!) [:-spin]
