Hi Ted,

I only have a short section of test track. About 3ft. I actually need to clean the gears in rubbing alcohol and a fine brush as there is a bit of grit here and there from the sanding ect that i missed getting out. But i think they run great.

Not sure if you have read the conversion article but this is the second of mine i have done and both have run nicely. It took about 30 mins to convert one truck over after you have done it a few times. Might take a little more fine tuning to be "perfect" as you can see the pickup is a little bent in the photo above.

If you can get a loco cheap defiantly give it a go and don't hesitate to contact me if you need any help.

Well so much for doing any more conversations. from another site: Well. so much for the 70 tonner converted to narrow gauge! Here is the response from NWSL about the wheelsets:

..."Sorry, those are long gone. We did a run of them and a lot of them sat in inventory for quite a while, so when they finally sold out that was it."

Oh no way! Now i wish i hadn't sold the one i completed two years ago. I wish i had got a few more packs of the wheels.

Maybe pop a post in the trading section here and someone may know where they are in stock?

Almost done now. Painted on the weekend and a little weathering.

A few little details to finish off like the lights and some more weathering around the louvers. Also need to add an exhaust stack on the hood.
