This is the type of wood siding that came with my shorty baggage car from Bethlehem Car Works. It's laser cut and scribed instead of being machine cut and scribed. Any suggestions on where I can get more material like this? [:-dopey]

I can't find it now, but I believe Micromark had some glued-up siding that looks like that. If I find it, I'll post the link.

It looks like scribed sheathing to me. Usually available in 1/16" or 1/32" thicknesses. There are many different spacings with 1/32", .040", 3/64" or 1/16" most commonly used for car siding. Any one of the big 3 - Kappler, Northeastern Scale Lumber, and Mt Albert - can supply what you need.

The scan is of part of one of the car sides for the kits that I'm building. Upon looking at it again, it is laid-up or glued-up. The scribed sheet is very thin and is glued onto a wood backing. I'll check with Mico-Mark, although I usually start to tremble with temptation whenever I look at one of their catalogs! [:-shake] I just really like the material, but if I can't get it or something similar, I'll go with one of the Northeastern products. Thanks, guys!
