    Bridges of Pittsburgh

    Hi, everyone --

    Here's a link to one of Pittsburgh's websites that includes an announcement of an about-to-be-released book on our bridges. There are also some very nice bridge pictures ("teasers") on the website.

    Thanks , Don ...think I'll save that link . If the Steel Modelers Covention is in Pittsburg next year , as I heard , this may come in handy .

      Don,

      I bought a book titled "The Bridges of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County" at the Carnegie Library a couple of years ago. The library published it. The pictures are black and white and I don't think it's as comprehensive as the book you're referring to. I'd like to get my hands on this book when it's published.

        I just checked the publisher's website again and the book is "now shipping" and the price is surprisingly reasonable ($22.95? I think). I'll be ordering it soon.
