    C-19 Minimum Radius Blackstone

    Hey guys does anyone have a C-19 from blackstone? Im interested in the minimum radius it can run on. i know the recommended is 18" but im wondering if i can squeeze it down to 15 if used on a logging layout?

      Adrian, I can't check now, I don't have any flex track...but will fiddle with a C-19 around the holidays when I have some time off work, and will report my findings!

        I ended up purchasing one anyway regardless of the radius. At the moment i don't have any flex track but when i do i will test out its radius and see how it goes

          What Manufacture of flex track are you using? Code 70?

            I will be using code 70 but as for brand im un decided on that at the moment. I actually would prefer to hand lay but i just dont have enough time.

            Ive got a bit of a hurdle at the moment in modeling because im moving interstate to Tasmania in 12 months. They have strict Quarantine laws so i would be able to take a layout across if it has natural logs and soil or anything. Ill hvae to just keep building rolling stock and things before i make the move.

              Buying some of that new Blackstone sectional track would allow you to run trains on a tabletop or the floor in the meantime. Just a thought...

                I do actually need to get a loop like this for testing and running in re motoring projects. Probably a very good idea.

                On the other hand in terms of modeliing i could build a wharf module with out to much use of natural materials. The gears are turning in my mind now.
