2'x3' Cork Board Challenge

    Thanks Tyson. Did some more experimenting.



    The lower section painted white with some interior latex paint.



    Added some leopard spotting with some yellow and green craft paint. In hind site, I should have done after step 3.



    Heavey 'dry' brush with some light grey craft paint. I covered most if the yellow and green. oops.



    Added a wash of some black craft paint and 50% alcohol, then a wash of some Scenic Stone grey



    Dry brushed with some of the white interior latex paint.

    The last pic is against a grey wall to try and give an accurate colour definition. Pretty happy with the results. Let me know what you think.

        Thank mate, I took another quick pic in the same location as the others. I think the flash on the camera also makes it look lighter than it is. It showed the dry brush detail though. Here's a better pic taken in the same location as the others.



        Next step is to recreate this on another test piece before tackling the cliff face. Thanks for checking in,

            Progress slow, but progress none the least. The colours in the pic are close to what it looks like in person. Not sure what to due with the cork layer, if anything. Suggestions?

              Heath - nice job on the rock work.

              Good colors as wall - What cork?

              If it is a layer of cork on top/in between/underneath the

              rocks, just paint it the same color.

              If it is on top, paint it brown & toss some

              dirt on it......JMO.

                    Heath, Nice looking cliff! I'm looking forward to seeing more.

                      A quick progress picture of the distraction layout, it is about 90 square inches smaller than the cork boards we are using but this shows you can squeeze a bunch of stuff into the space.
