Wow, everything looks great! Love seeing the little red loco in the open-air engine shed.

That jig sure is handy. I wish someone made jigs like that for large scale!

Thank you all for the positive comments. The trestle is stronger than it looks but will only have to deal with small hand pushed cars. I need to get moving on scenery on this little layout.

Larry, the trestle looks great, I can see it can support a lot of weight, those fast track filing jigs are not light. Glad to see you were able to get the track down without any damage to the trestle.

This little layout will be packed with details.

When I visited Verne in the summer we discussed how he needed to build an ore bin and mine for the Estrella & Sonora Grande RR. Verne had a company name for the mines "Estrella Copper Co." Now that the Estrella & Sonora Grande RR is being abandoned, I will dedicate this mini layout to having the railroad finally make it to the Estrella Copper Co. mine.

First order of business is to reserve some equipment and start lettering some of my equipment to the ECC.

First piece is on order.

Larry, thanks for keeping the name alive! I have decals you can have at no charge to help in that effort!

Just to keep the history 100% accurate, the Estrella Copper Co. runs several mines...the biggest is the Estrella Mine, at the top of the Estrella Incline. My current layout does extend that far, but I was planning another mining center in an unfinished are of the room. So, Larry can continue that part of the story!

A few progress pictures.

Started Lettering and weathering, it looks like I still need to work on hiding the decal film.

Based on popular demand the blacksmith shop is starting to blend be worked into the layout.
