Okay Rick.
I was testing out what I wanted to do to control the layout. I have one of each manufactures systems.
Going with Digitraxx using cell phones as throttles.
Video of one phone controlling two locomotives. I have two cell phones but not sure I could control 4 trains at one time.

I backwoods miniatures car - it will transfer ore behind the layout. I actually built it with an operating door.

I also like that car Larry, nice build. However, using cell phones as throttles is beyond my scope of railroading.

Great ore car!!! However as far as cell phones for throttles the reason I go in the train room is to get away from cell phones!
