  • Trucks from1930's

I started building my new layout . So I will need few vehicles to compete scenery . This is my first try in competing the task: Ford Texaco tanker and coal supply truck. Both are from a GAZ 1:48 model WWII truck. There are several version available.

It is very difficult to find vehicles in 1:48 scale . I thought that some companies that are in eastern Europe could have some vehicles because of support that Russia got in WWII in land lease act. They received Ford trucks to build under Ford licence as GAZ trucks. I found that HobbyTerra in Ukraine had several trucks and vehicles available. They are well made and serve well for kit bashing. They are about $16 each and shipping is not to bad. I think I bought 8 trucks. I am not in anyway connected to this company just satisfied customer. I am building RR from about 1939.
