Sunny but only 19 degrees in the palm of the mitten state. Forecast is for super cold coming on again, and with the lakes fairly well frozen over little relief from the cold like we're used to.

Not sure what's on tap today, the NASCAR season starts in Daytona today and there is a hoops contest with my Sparties vs the team in Ann Arbor today. Watch the race and tape the hoops is the plan.

    Everyone have a good day.

    BE SAFE!!

Good morning, Jerry, Karl and crew. It's going to be in the 60's in Tidewater Virginia, so Pat has plans for yard work. Maybe I can fit some workbench time in too.

I went to a Greenberg train show yesterday. It's usually a waste of time, but there was a dealer selling little details priced so he'd get rid of them and I helped him get rid of some of them.

      Have a good day.

Good morning Jerry and the rest of the crew. It is sunny and 43 degrees here in the Jersey Highlands. This will be the last of the 'melting' days before we head back into the deep freeze with more snow on the way. The few melting days that we have had reduced our snow pack from 22" down to about 14".

I have plans to work on my Challenge Project today. I am at the finishing stages of the project.

        Have a great day!

Well, Jerry, the only planned right now is breakfast............waffles and sausage, thanks.

The sun is out and hopefully melting the snow.

We are inside packing stuff up and getting the hobby room arranged. Sure is a lot of stuff accumulated in here.

            Mornin' All!

Thanks for breakfast, Jerry! Sounds like a great idea, if Dave left any.

It's a blistering 15F here in the northern mitten, with "plans" to go all the way to Karl's 19, then we're headed back to single digits and below zero F at night for awhile. And snow showers as far as the WWs can see in their forecasting globe. I think Mistress Zelda over above Mallerich's Magic Shop probably has a better idea of what's happening, but she's not talking. Probably doesn't want to scare us. It's still "Wintah." [:-cold]

To answer The Big Question ("Big Questions" are always in italics), work, then tax work, then maybe, if there is any energy left, some fun work on a locomotive. Maybe.

So stay warm, folks, and make it a great day!

Good morning all. In central Ohio it looks like we have hit the high (41) for the day and the temperatures will start to fall with some light snow over night.

I hope to get in some time on a couple of structures I have been working on and maybe run some trains this afternoon just to keep the track clean.

              Have a good day

The cold isn't due in the lower Merrimack valley until Monday afternoon. It's in the high 40s outside now, but overcast so not as pleasant as yesterday. I've been baking, but probably some modeling after lunch.

Morning everyone. it snowed lightly all night so there was an inch or two on the ground.

How about those Canadian Hockey players! repeat champions for both the Men's and Women's Gold. Our Ski-cross team did very well as well, gold and silver. The silver winner is from my town here so there was allot of celebrating on the ski hill.

congratulations to the Dutch speed skaters as well. Both my parents emigrated from there so I feel obligated to cheer for both countries.
