  • Monday Morning Lounge

Good morning from the Jersey Highlands where the sun is just coming up and it is 13 degrees outside. We got another 1"-2" of snow last night, so a quick (I hope) cleanup is in order.

Breakfast is ready: omelets of your choice, with toast or coffee cake, and plenty of hot coffee and tea.

I got the foundation on my Challenge Project yesterday and the front porch is on the agenda for today. I did stain and prime the necessary components for that job yesterday.

So what is on your agenda for this fine day?

Good morning, Bruce and crew. We're going to be in the low 30's today - too cold for me to do a bike ride.

I made some progress on my critter shed this weekend and plan to do more today.

    Have a good day.

Good morning, Bruce & George. The lower Merrimack valley got about an inch, but Jane tells me the Maine coast got 6". Today is a tiresome trip to Probate Court in Salem, but yesterday after pruning my orchard I had a couple of modeler friends over. Neither has a layout, so they mostly ran trains for several hours. I found a couple of little track problems and tuned up a couple of Branchline Pullmans that hadn't been run much since I built them.

        Morning Bruce & crew

        Thanks for the breakfast Bruce.

In South Jersey we got around 3" of the white stuff. But it's a cool 17 here.

Worked on the framing for front & back walls yesterday on the Mill.

Today I will try to get some more of that done.

        Everyone have a great day!!!

Good morning Bruce, George, Jerry and the rest of the RR-L Crew as they crawl into the lounge this bright Monday Morning.

Just tea and toast please, still working on that "girlish figure of mine!"

Did some casting yesterday seeing the car was out of the garage I could heat it and Mary was doing laundry. That allowed for the dryer exhaust to be diverted into the garage. The garage is insulated but not heated. Not much else going on that's different.

Everyone have a Fun and Safe day in the Train Yard.

Good morning Bruce and crew coffee and a omelet with cheese will hit the spot. I'm tired of saying more snow but it's here and cold too. Somehow I have to go into the garage and cut and drill some face boards and I now the saws are cold. Time to feed the birds and do a little snow blowing so be safe. Tom

Good morning Bruce and the rest of the crew. Coffee and toast sounds good for me.

Stopping by on my way into work this morning. I had a nice day off yesterday as I got a few things done on the layout and then dinner with some friends last night. We got an inch or two of snow last night, just enough to be annoying.

              Have a great day!

9 degrees, cloudy and a very light bit of snow this morning in MI, not enough to call out the crew.

Toast sounds good, had a raisin bagel here today.

Everyone have a good day, and week.

Morning Bruce and the rest of the crew! Coffee for me with some of that cake sounds real good. Just a dusting overnight here Ann Arbor way...

Just put a lean-to on the back of an IMEX diner, trying to get it away from that readymade look, it's going on the "TimeWaster" Coffee Table Branch.

                    Mornin' All!

It's a rousing +9F and grey here in the northern mitten, and guess what? The Gifts From Above continue! Welcome to Monday!! [:-cold] [:-irked]

If that's Bonnie's World Famous Coffee Cake I see over there on the counter, I'd like a piece (or two) please.

Day job issues to deal with, then it's back to the sand, mark, fill, sand, mark.... :erm:

Make it a Great Day, folks!

Morning everyone. It's -7c and snowing here. We have a holiday here in British Columbia, Family Day is what they decided to call it so I have some time for some modelling and We're planning to catch a movie later today.

Everyone have a great day (I know I will!)

Good morning crew friends. Thanks for breakfast Bruce. It's Partly Cloudy and a warm 25 degrees today here in Rhode Island where the winter does not want to go away. Again with the snow last night, and more to come Thursday. It falls and it's to cold to melt anything away, so it keeps piling up around me. If nothing else, it's a great winter for model railroading.

Good morning all. Well it has rained again. Now if it will just keep it up for a while[:-propeller].

My challenge project has taken a back seat to building a new computer.

Morning all. Looks like we have a big crew on hand today.

Sun is out in SE Mass. Again hoping for some Spring weather.

Klein's Model Train Stuff website has some really good prices. I've been buying a lot of my kit accessories from them as they have the best prices and ship fast.

After i finish this I'm off to do some mroe packing.

mornin folks, long time no post for me. Too many forums to peruse these days. Its 38 and no snow this AM for the first time in 4 days. We got about 8 inches over the weekend.Only 760 elevation here so this much snow is unusual for here. S'posed to rain this PM. Right now I'm in sort of a post project hangover tryin to figger out what to do next.No lack of projects just a little dissipated I guess. Bill in North central Idaho
