  • Monday Moanin' Coffee

Morning all! Coffee's on, water's hot! English muffins with my special sausage patties, eggs and hash browns also.

Spent about an hour last night cleaning my Woodland Scenics metal dead trees...lots of flash.

Hope to be able to prime them today.

    Hey Al!

We must have been prepping at the same time, I hope everyone is hungry I just opened the the other side of the Cafe`. Two lines up and running!

Those Woodland Scenics castings are gnarly but they do look nice if you spend the time.

While I'm here I'll try of those sausage patties!

    Have a great day!

Good morning Al, Ron and the rest of the crew. It looks like we will have plenty to eat for breakfast with both sides of the lounge open today.

We will take advantage of today's sunshine and temps in the 40's to take the last of the outdoor lights down. The only ones left are on the barn.

There should also be plenty of time for me to work on my Challenge project. I cut more window openings yesterday, but I'm not at the half-way point yet. I should get well past that point today.

      Have a great day!

Morning everyone. 10c out there and raining. At this rate I'll be putting the winter jacket away this weekend!

Off to work again but tonight I'll spend some time on my Challenge project.

Al, just about every WS kit I've built had allot of flash. I think of it as the project before the project!

Morning Al and the rest of the RR-L Crew. Overcast but 45 outside. Just a half an English muffin and tea thanks. Still trying to cut down. We're going to have roller coaster temps this week. Oh fun.

Actually I'm cutting out/down on bread and other carbohydrates and see if I can loose weight that way. Ever since the heart attach I've been using My Fitness Pal on my smart phone to track weight and calories. I've been at or below 1,560C a day but haven't lost any weight despite working out on the treadmill and at the cardiac rehab. So, I read that bread is a big issue in loosing weight and decided to try and stop eating it. Lost two pound so far. Hope it continues.

Right now RSSM is running Six Sheets to the Wind and I have little time to do much else.

Everyone have a Fun and Safe Day in the Train Yard.

Good morning, Al and crew. I've been out in the garage this morning cleaning and adjusting the brakes on my bike. I really should be working on the go fast end of the bike, but this is easier.

I didn't get much done on my challenge project yesterday, maybe I'll get more done today.

              Have a good day.

Greetings all, 42 degrees in MI this morning, 60 degrees warmer than last Monday. IT sounds like the same roller coaster Walt mentioned is coming here, too.

                Everyone have a good day.

Good morning crew, we have the same weather as Michigan here in southern ON. Spent yesterday refreshing my brain on installing DCC. The older I get the more refreshing I need. I will continue on today testing some older decoders. Have a great day.
