Good morning Jeff and the rest of the crew. I stopped by the bakery and brought along some donuts and a crumb cake to go along with that coffee this morning.

The rain has stopped, but the wind is heavy here in the Jersey Highlands where temps are in the mid-30's this morning.

I worked a bit on the Challenge project yesterday and will get a chance to do some more today. I'm at the stage where I an cutting the 18 window & door opening into the wall sections, so 'slow and steady' would describe my progress.

I'll skip breakfast here as Mary and I'll have coffee and a doughnut at Church this later this morning.

Good morning, Jeff and crew. We're having a mild day here in Tidewater Virginia. I guess I'll go for a bike ride around noon.

I see there's a lot of challenge projects going on. I spent some time on mine yesterday and have more I want to do today. I haven't really thought through the sequence I want to do things, I've just been doing tasks as the as the mood strikes me. I need to get organized, or will that take some of the fun out of the build?

Good morning, all. I got a slow start this morning because of when I got back from the Hub BoD meeting last night. But it's sunny and above freezing on the NH seacoast this morning and I have lots of things on my plate. Probably too many for the challenge, but I'll be looking in from time to time. First up is more work on fences in Rowley and Newbury, with possibly a picture or two later.

Morning all. Gee Bruce, I was hoping for some of Bonnie's homemade coffee cake.

I have more work to do on the book I'm putting together. Writing all the extra stuff....acknowledgement, into, etc. takes some skill which I have to learn.

Sun is out and hope the warmth hits here.

Thanks for opening Jeff and I love cake with my coffee. Started working on my challenge last night this is going to be fun. Snow is gone tell the next front. Going down in a bit but I want to get some wiring done first so have a good day and keep training tom.

Thank you for the coffee. I am going to work on my tank, Again and Again, between looking at football. I agree with Mike challenges are fun and in my case helps me be a better modeler. [Boy, I need a lot of help with that]!

Good Morning everyone. Just a quiet Sunday here, It got up to 8c yesterday and I don't think it even froze last night. I'll be mowing the lawn in no time!

My wife is working the afternoon shift all this week so it's just me and the cat and working on my Challenge project.

It is a mild morning here in south Jersey as well. My first task of the day will be to head outside and take down the Christmas decorations. After that, I'm headed downstairs to get some stuff done on the railroad. I finally updated my thread so you can see what I've been up to.

Mid afternoon in Michigan and it's 34 degrees and sunny. Most of the roads are clearing up except low areas where there are still snow banks to keep water from draining.

I've just returned from the Lansing Model RR Club show in East Lansing after filling two bags of reasonably priced things, had enough $$ left to stop by Lowe's and get 3 sheets of plywood. I had 2 cut into 2' strips and 1 cut into 1' strips. When I checked out the cashier tried to charge me for just one sheet. Apparently she had no concept of how much wood there was. She appreciated being told. I've just lugged it all to the basement. Ready for more work on the layout.

There was a big crowd at the show and plenty of dealers. There was one big area that was empty as one of the dealers, from Ohio, had a fatal accident at his home recently.

This weather break is going to stick around for the next day or so. It's a nice respite after last weekend's snow, wind and cold.

Just back from the Lansing train show myself. Looked at a lot of stuff but only bought a pack of Woodland Scenics 5 dead trees in metal.
