    The Friday before Christmas Evening Lounge

    I was on my way home from finishing up my Christmas shopping and thought I'd stop and and enjoy a nice Baily's on the rocks and see who would stop by. I think this is the earliest I've ever finished my Christmas shopping! Now all that's left is to wrap these gifts and I'm all set.

    The weather is getting warmer and it's expected to get into the 60's over the weekend here in south Jersey. I do hope to get some time in downstairs this weekend and get some more track laid, but with all the preparations for Christmas, my time is limited. I will have to see how things work out.

    So how was everyone's day? Are you ready for Christmas?

    Hi Mark. I'll join ya fer a wee drink in the lounge. I'm gonna put me feet up as I've been out shovelling a lot of white stuff a number of times today. But, I did manage to get a good start on a kit that I built for a friend some six years ago. I'm excited that I found it for sale here on the forum...Bar Mills Raglan Road. I love the Pharmacy that came as one of the four structures in the large wooden box! Have a great rest of the evening and here's to a wonderful weekend![:-apple] [:-apple]

      Good evening Mark, Mike, and whoever else might stop by.

      I think an eggnog with a bit of rum would hit the spot.

      We are officially ready for Christmas. Tomorrow we are having my mother and sister over for an early Christmas since we are head to our son's house in Virginia for the actual day. This is probably the earliest that we have ever been ready.

        Evenin' All!

        Rule G having been suspended for The Occasion, I'll have a taste of that eggnog-with-rum that Bruce is hoarding over there. Might set another log on the fire, too.

        A long ride today, most of it it precip, but a good one, and I'm where I need to be right now, so life is Good. Still have wrapping to do, and may spend some time tomorrow in that endeavor, but tonight I'm officially Off Duty. Top it up, please, Bruce.... Thanks. Ahhhhhhh.... [^]
