Yes, it's Friday morning and my first day of the Christmas holidays. School shut down yesterday so I slept in a bit. Got up at 7:00 instead of 5:30!
Anyway, the bagels are hot out of the toaster. There's plenty of cream cheese selections and jams as well. Coffee and tea are on the stove. There are some holiday chocolates for dessert...yup, dessert for breakfast. So, indulge and enjoy.
I'm changing course on my latest modelling project since I wish to incorporate it into the latest group challenge Bruce has offered up beginning later in January. So, it's off to the workbench shelves to open a different box and begin modelling something else.
I was excited yesterday as my package arrived in the mail from fellow forum member, Don Tanner. I had always wanted to get my hands on Bar Mills' Raglan Road ever since I built one of the structures in the kuit, the pharmacy, for a friend. Don had this big wooden box available as well as Grutty McDuff's from Bar Mills...and I got em both. Hmmm...perhaps I could start the pharmacy build again!
I encourage all our forum members to "jump in" with the latest challenge. They are a ton of fun, and, as Bruce mentioned, you meet new friends and get to enjoy some humour and camaraderie along the way!
Looks like a lot of snowy weather is heading our way over the next couple of days. It's snowing outside as I type this message. Better get out and see if I can find some black asphalt beside the house! Have a great day everyone. [:-apple][;-xmas][:-apple]
