      Well, the kit arrived from Backwoods miniatures, and I'm reading through the instructions. I'll have to remove the coal load and reduce the overall height of the tender to make this small engine look "right" I also measured the cab, and it provides about 5'5" of clearance inside, plenty of room to move about. What's the "well, thanks" (sad face) Pacbelt?

        ...... It's something I figured out. The headlight wouldn't work. It turned out to be a wiring problem....

        And B'Mann ran ALL BLACK wires!! :erm:

        Finally sorted it, with a DVOM, and patience!

            No, but I've been meaning to provide an update. Life got in the way, and the project was shelved for most of this year.

            The arrival of a brass C-16 pilot from PSC kickstarted construction again, so there will be more progress photos soon as it comes to life.

              I've been delayed too - suffering from scale confusion-itis!!!!

              FINALLY settled on HO scale.
