Good morning Al and the rest of the RR-L crew when they skid in here on the ice patch.[:0][}]

Still cold here, 27, but at least no snow in the forecast, for a while anyway.

I'll stick with my tea and toast even though it doesn't seem to help me loose any weight. I'm averaging 1,200 calories a day and doing extensive walking exercises five times a week and still can't loose weight. Hell getting OLD.

Everyone have a Fun and Safe day in the Train Yard.

      Mornin'!

An english with a slice of ham sounds good Al, thanks!

I know what you mean Walt, I've not cut back that hard yet, but have made substantial changes and every week...exactly the same when I hit the scale.

It is freezing rain here this morning, about 2:00 am it was snowing but we only got a dusting before the change over.

Well we decked the halls this weekend and traveled down to new Milford, CT for December family birthday celebrations. It was fun but holiday cheer is overshadowed year, sadly, in Sept. our niece's car was hit head on by a truck and her 3 year daughter was killed. It really makes you take stock and the only silver lining thus far is that it has indeed pulled the family together even closer than before.

I am going to do a major cleaning of the hobby workshop this week. For some reason I tend to save empty containers (of all sorts) so I am expecting to regain a ton of space when I am done.

      Enjoy your day everyone.

Thanks AL, biscuits and gravy with scramble sounds great. Guess I'll have to wait to try Walt's diet.

Yeah, a dusting of snow here to. Got my Craig's list ads posted yesterday and the e-mails are coming in.

Just waiting fro some parts in the mail and I'll have to send out a bulk e-mail.

        Have a nice day.

MMMM Ham. Morning everyone. It' -6 this morning. The warmest it's been in 4 days and we got a skif of snow, maybe 1/4" so I have to leave for work a little earlier.

          Everyone have a great day!

Good morning Al and the rest of the crew. It is 30 degrees and cloudy here in northern New Jersey and we have a thick coating of ice on everything. We were so far out on the edge of this storm that we never got the snow coating first, so we just have the black ice to deal with. Unless we can get up into the upper 30's today, I'm not going to get that ice off the driveway. Tomorrow we are supposed to get a few inches of snow on top of that.

If I do manage to get out of the driveway and down the hill, I have some packages to get into the mail. We'll see.

            Have a great day!

We got maybe 2" of snow, then 1/8" of ice. Fortunately, it's warm enough that the ice is breaking up as you drive over it.

Good morning crew! It sounds like we got the worst of it here in south Jersey. Around 6" before it turned over to sleet then rain. It's still raining and in the low 30's. This storm caught us by surprise as we were only supposed to get a 'dusting to maybe an inch', but when it started snowing, a band stalled over us and at one point we got white out conditions. I got stuck driving in the middle of it and it was bad. The roads are fairly clear now, mostly slushy.

Well its back to work for me today after four days off. it was a good day yesterday as after I got home, I headed downstairs and got a lot done.

                Have a great day everyone!

27 and snowing here in MI but not the great amounts we saw on tv yesterday at the Philly-Detroit football game.

I'll have a bit of toast and tea, today. Thanks.

Everyone stay safe in the messy weather. Ron, I wish your family the best this holiday after that terrible accident.

With 2-4" more being forecast for tomorrow in my part of No. VA, Dave.
