  • Sunday Morning Breakfast Coming Down

Good Sunday morning all. I've just put the coffee on and the kettle has been plugged in for those who desire a cup of tea. Pancakes are in the pan on the stove and waffles are in the waffle maker. Good old fashioned Canadian maple syrup is ready to be poured and there's apple crumble for dessert. Yup, dessert at breaky! So, come on in and enjoy the meal to start you off on a great day of train activity.

While I know many will be caught up in activities pertinent to the season, it is my hope you can sneak a few moments at the workbench! Have a great day everyone! [:-apple] [:-apple]

Can I skip right to the dessert, Mike?

Thanks for opening the lounge this morning. We have a mix of sun and clouds and it is in the mid-20s here in the Jersey Highlands this morning. It looks like we have a roller coaster ride of winter weather starting this evening and continuing through Tuesday. Hopefully much of it will be plain rain.

Bonnie and I really enjoyed the Rod Stewart concert last night. He is quite the entertainer. His two hour show followed an hour of Steve Winwood. Excellent all around.

We will be trying to finish up some on-line shopping for our grandkids and then wrap the packages we bought locally so that we can get them in the mail early this week.

    Have a great day!

Waffles for me Mike, thanks and morning to Bruce and crew when they get here.

Mike's "where is this" thread was fun.

Looks like Walt's big storm is headed our way but rain will wash it all away on Monday.

I'm busy today posting a bunch of tools on Craig's list. No one in the family is interested in woodshop or the tools my Dad had so off they go to some lucky buyers.

      Have a nice day.

        Mornin' All!

Brekkies sound wonderful, Mike, and please pass the apple crumble before Bruce grabs all of it. It's a brisk 16F here in the white, dreary northern mitten, with no hint of sunlight today, and more snow set for later on. Your culinary offerings are most decidedly welcome!

Bruce, a suggestion, if I may. Since you postponed your anniversary dinner in favor of a concert by a model railroader, surprise Bonnie this week with that dinner. Hero points and all that....

Some workbench time would be just what I need right now. Good idea!

        Stay warm and safe, all!

          It sounds like Pete's buyin!
Grey and cold here in the southern portion of Michigan, in spite of the attempt by some over jubilant celebrants in East Lansing after Michigan State's solid defeat of the Ohio team last night. Someone should fire the guy on Fox TV that kept showing the clown in the crowd with the 'torch the couch' sign.

Household chores to attend to today. We're thankful that the messy part of all that nasty weather by-passed us.

I hope everyone enjoys the day, stay warm and dry.

Coffee for me and thanks opening Mike.

Weather in South Jersey about the same as Bruce's area but no sun. Were hoping for rain here to.

Your right Dave lets blame this weather on Walt he has big shoulders!!!

            Everyone have a great day!!

Thanks for the breakfast Mike. If we get precipitation here it will be light and fluffy since its -12 outside. maybe snow flurries but sometimes I think the weatherman has a dartboard with forecasts on it in his office.

Going out to dinner this evening for my father-in-laws birthday other than that working on the CPR tool shed project.

Have a great day everyone and stat warm.

Thanks for breakfast Mike. A nice hot meal is what is needed today in Nevada. Ten below zero here.

My son and two grandkids are here for the weekend.

Bruce glad you enjoyed the concert. We saw the Moody Blues a few weeks ago they also put on a good show.

Good morning everyone and thanks for opening Mike! Just a hot coffee for me.

It just started snowing here in south Jersey. They say no accumulation, but after only about an hour, everything is turning white!

I've already put some time in downstairs this morning. Laid some more trackage, this time around the new section at the bottom of the stairs from staging onto the layout. My focus is getting this area completed.

Well, time to get to other errands around the house.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Let's just say the "Flurries" they were talking about has now left 4" of snow and it's still coming down.

Another good call by our "WEATHER WEENIES" in action!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
