  • MY CLOCK SAY'S GET UP

It's time to get going so I put coffee and water for tea, I think bacon and egg on toast this morning with sweet rolls and butter and jam. I was going to make an Irish breakfast but I think that's better for the weekend when we can relax. More rain in Cleveland today so more time in the basement for trains ,check in later Tom.

    Morning Tom & crew

Thanks for the coffee this am.

Nothing much on the modeling front these days. To busy with the beach and company. But the season is winding down.

Weather in South Jersey is a partly sunny morning with temps around 72.

    Everyone have a great day!!!

Good morning Tom, Jerry and the rest of the crew. It is 71 degrees here in northern New Jersey with some late afternoon showers a possibility.

I only have time for a quick cup of coffee and then it is back to painting. I want to get done early so that any showers don't ruin my work.

      Have a great day!

Good morning Tom, that's all your clock ever says. You need one that has more to say, maybe sing!

Also, good morning to the rest of the RR-L crew. Just tea and toast again this morning. Going to be another hot one[:-hot]. It hit 97 yesterday so I'm told, I stayed in all day and worked. Today will be more of the same except we might go out to get haircuts and lunch. Need a change of scenery.

Everyone have a Fun and Safe day in the Train Yard.

I'm finally relaxing a bit on my commuter train: it's sunny, warm & fairly humid in the lower Merrimack River valley this morning. So far I've: 1) checked out a Makita reciprocating saw I found in the trash with its cord cut off - works fine, h/w store sold me new cord & blades; picked peaches and dropped them off at the farmstand; 3) HR & purchasing work for my employer, including buying a new UPS for my server room at the mall; 4) lugged the UPS almost a kilometer from where I park to the train. Alas, today's Globe was delivered without the comics. Next up on the RR is tracklaying, maybe tomorrow.

Good morning crew! My day off and I was going to cut the lawn today, but it just started raining so it looks like I might as well head into the basement! I still have to finish cleaning up the floor and reorganizing the shelves, but I should be able to get all the done today. Tonight is dinner with the kids and grandkids.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Great breakfast Tom. Finished of the 1:1 job yesterday....boy, was it humid. Had a bit of rain before we started and then it was total humidity...I finished the job soaking wet. Mush worse than last week when I was working in full sun.

So now I can relax a bit and catch up on the forums. Glad to see Walt is keeping busy. No sense in having him just roll over in bed.

Don't think I'd want to lug the UPS that far James. And as for the Globe, well, I won't say any more.

My new kit order from Klein showed up. As I said before, this is something different which should make a good, but short, build thread.

              Enjoy the sun
