Time to get up for breakfast coffee and tea on with toast for Walt and I might try Walt's diet. But for everyone else there's bacon, eggs any way you want jam for the toast or rolls and we can even make french toast. Nice day in Cleveland and we are getting together with the kids and talk about the vacation. Go in the basement for awhile. Everyone have a good day and keep training. Tom

Good morning Tom, Bruce and Ken, and the rest of the crew.
Just when I thought I could free-up a day to do a little modeling, the Wife has started a make-over on our back patio. :erm: There will be a major transformation going on, and it looks like there will be no modeling in the near future either, until it's finished. I have to remove a brick fireplace, dig out concrete posts, and construct a new pergola in it's place! Today, I was hoping for RAIN!!Do they make a kit for this?
Everyone, have a safe day.
Rich

I had to look up pergola. Yeah, we could use one of those, too.
Tom, thanks for the breakfast. Not much more than Walt's normal repast here for me. Just a little peanut butter on the toast, tho.
Nice weather on tap again for Michigan today. Temp is quite pleasant but going to climb to no so pleasant later in the day. I have a birthday to attend to today. My grand daughter is going to be 9 or 10, I can't keep up.
Everyone have a great day.
BE SAFE!!

Bacon and eggs ARE on the Atkins diet!
Rich, yes they do make pergola kits but I suspect you can build one from scratch OK.
I've been gathering ideas for Winter projects (besides selling off an over-accumulation of stuff) and looks like I have enough kits to keep me busy.
Enjoy your sun.

Gooooooooooood Morning, Crew!
Beautiful day here in The Greater Canton Metropolitan Area, too, Tom...thanks for opening! After doing some kitchen clean-up, I'll head down to the basement and scratch my head figuring out the last Tortoise install and wiring.Tomorrow's my 62nd birthday and it'll be cake and ice cream with our daughter and grandchildren this afternoon. I went to the VA hospital in Cleveland earlier in the month for my first set of hearing aids, so my 'old man' status is well secured!
Have a great day, everyone!

Thanks for opening, Tom. Breakfast was good...now it's time for lunch! Ha! I'll find some time to work on the Hoosegow diorama today before heading out with friends in the evening. Have a great modelling day everyone. Dave, that's a beautiful structure you've got added to your home!

Good morning all, it's stll morning here barely. Thanks for opening and breakfast, Tom.
Going to be sunny and hot today in south central Kansas, high of 95 or so. No rain in sight for the week, nice break from all the rain we had during the first part of the month.
Rich, I'll think real hard for rain if you want.
Nice pergola, Dave
Our local NMRA chapter had a visit to the Wichita Toy train Club & Museum yesterday had a great time looking at the 027 Lionel layouts. I'll post some pics in another thread.
Personally, I have now completed the wiring of the layout except for the two EH?TT areas. Had my MDC shay running around for a while and discovered that I need to drill some ventiation holes as the TSU gets hot and shuts off. The opening in the front of the bunker appearently is not enough.
Everybody have a safe and happy day in trainland
