  • Going loco between two loco's

Like the tiltle says im having trouble picking the locomotive that i want, im in between the C-636 from Alco and the MLW RS-18. what do i pick?

I have no specific era or area im freelanced to the max, im just having trouble with motive power.

Depends on what you like, mostly. The prototype C-636 is a heavy, high-horsepower (for its era) loco that would rarely have been seen on a branch or even running alone for its first 30 or so years. The prototype RS-18 was doing pretty much every job on the railroad by the late 1960s. The model C-636 will want broader curves and be a bit more picky about coupling on curves and trackwork in general than the RS-18.
