  • Good Grief the Thusday Lounge is OPEN

Good MORNING RR-L Crew! Time for breakfast even a bit late. So, cold toast, hot coffee, cold OJ and hot sausage plus some warm fat pills. Enjoy.

Storm has passed these parts and we are in for a warming trend. Suppose to be 50 degrees by Saturday but also rain.

What's on you plate for today? Me, not sure I'll get my RSSM stuff done today as I have a number of meetings to attend.

Everyone have a Fun and Safe day in the Train Yard.

Seems Walt is busy with more meetings than a board chairman these days. Civic duty is a good thing.

Mostly sleet here for now. Poor Gail had to drive to work in this. Good day to be retired.

Finally got some out of stock kits packaged and back in stock. Now to update the website.

Good morning Walt and Dave I'll have a couple of those fat pills with frosting dripping down the side, and Dave maybe you should have taken Gail to make sure she got there ok. There talking about some snow in the Cleveland area but nothing yet. Going to run trains on a friends layout tonight. Going down the basement to see if what I did last night looks good in the daylite. Have a good day and take it easy with this weather. Tom

        Good Morning Gents,

Not much going on in Central NJ this morning, a little light rain, no snow as the WW (weather weanies) predicted. Supposed to get about an inch tonight/tomorrow they say.

Keeping busy with chores and little jobs around the house.

Looking forward to the Division meet in Hamilton NJ this weekend. Hopefully nothing will interfere with me going.

So what are you working on?

        Have a great day!

          Good morning Walt and Crew

Cool here in SW FL today but warming trend for the weekend should be 80 by Sunday.

OJ and coffee will do me fine this morning, thanks Walt.

I'll get back to the workbench later today, have some detail work on Delwins to do.

Hope all will have a great day!!!

Good morning Walt and the rest of the crew. We have some light snow showers right now in northern New Jersey.

Not much happening on the modeling front. Work is busy as we get ready for State Monitoring that is schedued for tomorrow (weather permitting), and I spent last night gathering everything we need to do our taxes this weekend.

I keep thinking that things will soon quiet down and I can get back to the modeling bench. Why I keep thinking that is still a mystery.

            Have a great day!

Good morning Walt and crew. Well my 4 week cold got worse last night again. I am trying to get in to see the doctor. So I am not going into work today. I am just going to take it easy today. Have a great day.

Good morning crew. I'll take a couple of the warm fat pills, Walt. It's in the 40's and not a cloud in the sky here in Hampton Roads. I'm driving to Virginia International Raceway, near Danville, VA this afternoon. I'll be there all weekend helping my son and his teammates with their Mazda Miatas. It's going to be chilly, but sunny, so we'll be having fun.

                Have a good day,

                George

Good morning crew. I'll be heading out to work shortly so I'll have a quick cup of coffee.

Just as I predicted, no snow! I got up this morning and saw the grass and just laughed. I spent some time downstairs last night laying more track on the layout. I'm working on the upper level in the Wilkes-Barre area. Its slow progress, but it's progress!

Well, I think I'll check out the rest of the forum and then head off to work. Have a great day everyone!

Quiet and warm(er) today in mid 30s, with no precip, off and on sun.

The Doll and I went out on a little shopping trip and lunch today, back about 3:30.

Back to the layout in a bit after checking the 'net. Not sure it was universal but here in MI several of us experience a RR-L outage much of yesterday.

Fingers crossed and prayers for Pete, Orionvp17, he's having a heart cath today to check a stent for it's status. He was optimistic yesterday in e-mail we exchanged.

                    Good day all.

                    BE SAFE!!

My e-mail shows I was receiving an e-mail from Pete as I posted this...he's home and all is well. Time for a nap.

                        Thanks for the kind words!

I'm glad to hear all is well, Pete!

Yesterday's Forum outage was due to the high winds from the Nor'easter. Joe lost power for a while.
