    My school district shows some class

    As some of you know, I was a Superintendent of Schools for 14+ years in a District in northern New Jersey before I retired. Last July 1 I went back to the District for a year as Interim Superintendent of Schools while the School Board continues to search for a permanant replacement.

    I have always been proud of the District, but some days I'm prouder than ever. (BTW, the other district in the story, West Milford, is where I live.)

              Great story. You should be very proud.

              Very classy act on behalf of the coach. It'll stick in the memories of the players, one hopes.

                          Jeff, I sent him a "well done" note. He is one of several coaches that does not teach in our District, so I don't run into him on a regular basis. He is a great guy and has built our hockey team into a State level powerhouse.
