  • Monday Moaning Morning Loung is OPEN

up, Up, UP you lazy rasckles, get you tired, achy and weary bodies out of bed and down to the breafast counter on the double. Up, UP I say.

Breafast is on the counter and hot. Usual fair of Pancakes with lots of trimmings, Railbender coffee to tighten up your insides for the hard work ahead. Toast, Bacon crisp as a dry board and OJ. Move it boys, MOVE IT.

Well, still overcast outside with a threat of thunder storms this afternoon or eveing. I've got lots of orders in so plenty to do today while I wait for the Kapton Tape to arrive so I can finish the work on the 3D printer and start doing some calibration and test printing. Yep, certainly reminds me of the very early days of micro-computing.

Everyone have a Fun and Safe day in the Train Yard.

Greetings from MI where it remains dull grey and dreary looking. I'm sure Walt's breakfast will take the edge off the gloominess.

I started the day off well, put a filter and coffee in the coffee maker, poured the water in the top and set it to brew. A couple minutes later walking from one side of the house to the other I heard a strange sound, at first attributing it to my new "mechanical ears" picking up something I'd been missing, but no....I'd forgot to put the pot back in the brewer and fresh hazelnut was starting to run all over the counter...the sound I'd heard was sizzling from the hot plate the missing pot was supposed to sit on.

    Everyone have a good day.

Well, Karl, the coffee soaked up off the countertop can't be any worse than the stuff Walt has brewed.

And now he has a moaning morning.....jeeeeez. Old age sure has gotten to him.

Rain here so I think we'll take in the new Hobbit film.

Supposed to be real good and ticket sales were brisk.

        Enjoy.

OK, OK, I hear ya Walt. Thanks for opening! Just some more coffee this morning. I made up a door and end wall for my caboose last night and now I have to get it pinned so that it will open and close. I have yet to get the fit just right for that and I'll work on it tonight when I get home from Da Job. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning, all. I wasted a bunch of gas and a little adrenaline trying to go to work this morning; I'm north of the ice line and while the back roads were ok, Haverhill was an enormous traffic jam. So I'm working from home, near the wood stove with my bird feeder visible in the window. Saturday's anti-squirrel work has made it 36 hours, but I'm not holding my breath...

It's a dreary day in South Jersey. Cloudy and drizzle right now but in the mid 40's.

                Good morning Walt and Crew.

Coffee for me this morning, thanks Walt.

Beautiful here this morning in SW FL headed for 80' degrees today. Clear as a bell so I guess I need to take advantage and do some outside chores. The workbench will be calling by this afternoon.

Hope all will have a great day!!!
