  • Carving of the first rockface

    hi all,

I started to carve the first big rockface on my layout. Opposide there will be another rockface and nearby there will be a trestle which spans a deep gorge.

The coloring of the rocks will be the next job to do.

    cheers, Paul

Outstanding carving work, better that most rock molds can produce. Like Mike said, very realistic looking!

outstanding! are you going to use troels' method? painting it black and then drybrushing the colors on?

thank you Kebmo! I give it a wash with very strongly diluted black watercolor and later I finish it with some pigment colors!

                          cheers, Paul
