Lots of great layouts open this year. Most of the South Jersey layouts are open Saturday 11/10. Check out the schedule in Joe's post above.

I will be open from Noon to 5:00 and all RR-Line members are welcome. Moonpies and ice cold RC Cola for all!![:-jump2]

      Arnold,

I am pretty certain my son and I will be back for a visit tomorrow. I was very impressed with what we saw at your layout last year ... and my son appreciated the moonpie! I have a few other layouts checked off to try to get to as well.

Hope everyone made out better in the storm than we did up north here... how is the gas situation down in south Jersey, Philly area and Delaware?... are there lines?... are most stations open?... gotta balance gas usage w/ fun time... thanks!

No issues at all Jim. It's amazing how little damage was done down here as compared to up north. I'm fairly certain once you get south of Trenton, you will not have any problems finding gas.

              Joe & Jim

Looking forward to seeing you again. Have spent the last year on wiring, construction and other less glamorous chores, so not much new in the way of scenery. The Moonpies are fresh though!

              See y'all in the Lowcountry

I was hoping to see some of these as well as help Dave Skinner with his, but my Dad's health issues have required me to me in Hazleton. Next year.

Ralph, your father is in my thoughts and prayers. Best wishes to him and for a quick recovery.

Dave was able to recruit enough helpers for his final open house. We had Joe M, Hollis, Charlie S, Val P, Kevin and myself. Final count was around 300 -- the door 'girl' lost track at one point.

The KADE RR is no more. Dave plans to start teardown in the next week or two -- slowly at first.
